Packaging: We would either do the 12 pc display box or the 2-pack carded. If we do the 12 pc box, the quantities would be a lot higher – 12 per store instead of 4-6 per store. Please price out the tubes, display box, and the 2-pack blister separately.
The 12 pack cost just for the box is around $.75 each plus the labor of $.18 ($.015 each) to insert the lip balm in the boxes and shrink wrap them. This price will go down in the next 30 days as we are installing new equipment now which will lower costs. This also depends on how many folding carryon displays we produce at one time. Also, if we go to a 24, 36 or 48 lip balm box the cost of the box will only go up slightly and the cost per tube on the labor will go down to less then $.01.
The Blister pack with two lip balm is $.75 for the blister, card and labor
