Google Postini automatically keeps a copy of every email that is sent and received by the Email System for one year.

Search Your Own Archive

You can search your own archive without any involvement from IT. Simply go to https://login.postini.com and type your email address and your Postini password into website.

f you don't know your Google Mail Security password, email itsupport@hitpromo.net and we will reset it.

Once logged in, Click on the "Archive" tab and run your search using any combination of the following fields:

  • From: (the email address of who the email was sent from)
  • To: (the email address of who the email was sent to)
  • Content: (Searches the Body and Subject Line)
  • Date: (Date Range of the email you want to find. In order to perform the fastest search possible, choose the shortest time frame when the email was sent.)

To deliver an archived message, click "Recover" and it will re-send that email to you.

Company Wide Searches

In order to do a company-wide-search, first email your manager, and then they will contact IT to run the search.

All requests for a company-wide-search without management approval will be discarded.
