Mimecast instructions • Website - https://webmail-us.mimecast.com/ to login o Login is same as outlook • When you log in, will bring up your online inbox, which presents to pull up all emails from last 30 days.

• On the left side is the mail options, including where you can search • It will also pull calendars, and your exchange folders


• Email Search o To do a quick search of emails, at the top of the screen is a search function to search the last 12 months of emails. Enter in your keyword and hit search.

o When you need to do a more specific search for an email, click search from the menu on the left and an ‘archive search’ button will popup. o You can alter the search text, which folders it searches as well as the date range. o You can also save the search by entering in a description for the search so you can save it and use in the future.

• Deliver mail caught in spam o To view email that has been marked as potential spam, go under the advanced menu and click on ‘personal on hold’

o This will load the queue of emails that are currently on hold.

o If you click one of the emails it will show the details and content of the message. o You have four options  Release message – message will be forwarded to inbox  Delete message – removes the email  Permit sender – will white list this email and all future emails from this address  Block sender – will block all emails from this address. • Managed Senders – o Under the advanced menu is the option for managed senders. This allows you to white list (permit) or block emails from an email address. o To white list an email, click the box beside that email address and click the permit button o To block an email, click the box beside that email address and click the block button.

• Composing an email o If there is an issue with outlook, you can use Mimecast to compose an email. Click compose option under Mail and create your email message.
