For future reference on outsourced transfers, here are the needs as we are given them by our suppliers:
- Jersey...4-5 days from outsourcing to them. 6 days from approval.
- China...7-8 days from outsourcing to them. 9 days from approval.
This is as long as there are no issues with the artwork or colors.
Additional Information: Reminder, if vector files cannot be supplied and redrawing is required on any or all of the components, in most cases, another day needs to be added to the production time. • Spot Color & 4 Color (CMYK) Process orders: · Pre-flighting is necessary to make sure the artwork meets production specifications. This is so that we can supply you with a high quality product. · When artwork is approved, please allow time for production set up. • Artwork approval deadline: · Artwork must be approved by 12 pm in order to take advantage of same day set-up for next day production. · If approval is received after 12 pm, then setup will begin the next day. Hence, we lose a half day of production time. • Receiving: ·Always check with Jake for an accurate “days of production” estimate after receiving outsourced transfers.
